Hip Hop Dance

Hip Hop Dance has been around since the 70's seen in movies such as "Saturday Night Fever" and "Flashdance" and on TV with stars like Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Usher, and N'Sync.  Ricki started his dance career in his native Japan in 1985 with the funky jazz group "New York Jets".  He toured Japan extensively and danced with the MTV dancers.  He is now a resident of Denver and the leader and choreographer of the hip-hop group "Street Jam".  Ricki's class covers basic hip-hop steps through specific hip-hop training techniques like "popping" and floor moves like back spins.
