Poet, advertising copywriter, and State of Colorado Artist Fellow Kathryn T. S. Bass takes pleasure in helping students to discover their unique voices and relate their unique experiences through poetry. Kathryn's publication credits include two books, Within/Without (2005) and Bright Seeds (2005) as well as appearances in dozens of literary journals.  "The poetry I love inhabits the mouth and the ear, raises the hair on the back of the neck, and elicits a profound 'Yes!' of recognition (as in, Yes, that is what a loneliness feels like.’ or Yes, that is the sound the wind makes in a cottonwood tree.) Kathryn holds a Ph.D. in Creative Writing from Denver University.
