The Mask Messenger The Mask Messenger is an astonishing revelation of the power of dramatic art. Using masks made by the company, some 20 or more character changes baffle the eye and tickle the funny bone. Audiences are in turn spellbound, touched, sent into gales of laughter - and instructed. WORKSHOP! This 45-60 minute workshop includes theatre, mime and dance exercises, character development, improvisations with masks and the creation of short sketches. The goal is to provide an opportunity for your students to experience first-hand the power of transformation through masks, to foster student’s awareness of the importance of movement, posture and gesture in theatre and dance, to facilitate an improved self-image and self-expression in everyday life and to improve student’s flexibility, strength and focus.
