Life As A Person of Many Colors: One Clown’s Story It’s hard to just blend in when you have a big red nose and rainbow-colored hair! Penelope the Clown (aka Lynn Grasberg) is a multi-colorful personality who knows what it’s like to have people treat you strangely just because you happen to look “different”. Life as a Person of Many Colors: One Clown’s Story is a funny show about serious issues diversity, inclusiveness, and breaking down prejudices (“clownism”) with humor and compassion. This program has been performed for all age groups and is adaptable for elementary, middle and high school audiences. This program includes humorous and poignant stories, audience participation, and a grand finale that gets everyone on their feet. Some audience members even get the chance to join Penelope onstage! CONFLICT RESOLUTION WORKSHOP! Students and Teachers learn active tools for conflict resolution Skills that can be applied at school, at home, and on the street! Students use improve theatre games, comedy and role-playing to learn how to de-escalate conflict, think on their feet in the heat of the moment, interrupt mistreatment, develop alternatives to violence, negotiate, and work with opposing viewpoints. This workshop cane be done as a single one-hour workshop but it is highly recommended that this workshop be scheduled as a series (2,3,4,5, etc.) Workshop Fee: $120 |
