Workshop: The Language of Dance
This workshop focuses on how to speak about what we see in dance and movement, and in turn, how to dance and move what we speak, think and feel. Using playful exercises of keen observation and creative improvisation, students learn to discern and create meaning in movement. Using the body as a tool of artistic communication, students aim to trust their innate movement senses and most importantly, experience dance as the fun and meaningful form of expression. Up to 35 students may attend a single workshop.
