Junior Wahines

A Short Trip To Polynesia                           

The Junior Wahines invite you to join them on a cultural extravaganza that showcases six island cultures of the South Pacific: Hawaii (ancient and modern hulas), Tahiti, Samoa, Tonga, Cook Island and New Zealand. Up to fifteen students will have the exciting opportunity to participate and dance during this performance. This well-applauded and professionally performed program showcases a true taste of diversity!

Single Performance: $810
Double Performance: $1350
Grade Levels: All Ages

Workshop: Haku (Crown) Lei Making Workshop                                         

Learn to make a Haku Lei, the traditional flower crown of fresh flowers and leaves. Students may also learn how to string fresh flowers into a desired length to create a traditional lei. This workshop is 1 1/2-hours in length and materials are included. Up to 25 students may participate in this workshop.

Fee: $380
Grade Levels: All Ages

Workshop: Satin Leis & Fuzzy Yarn Lei Making

Students will learn how to create a silk lei through cutting strips of satin. Students may also learn how to crochet with yarn in order to create a non-traditional lei. Once finished these leis will last forever! This workshop is 1 1/2-hours in length and materials are included. Up to 25 students may participate in this workshop.
