The world's most popular ballet is recounted through seven to eight of the most famous dance excerpts from Tchaikovsky's music, and includes many colorful costumes. This program features a behind-the-scenes look at how this amazing production is created, along with a narrative, story and the history of this ballet. The DTDT's Nutcracker In A Nutshell serves as a perfect introduction to ballet.
