Opportunity for students to showcase artwork for CDE's "Living Museum"

SHOWCASE STUDENT ARTWORK!

The Colorado Department of Education is pleased to announce its
First Art Call-Out
To encourage and showcase student creativity and imagination as a strategy for
educational success, the halls of the Colorado Department of Education’s main building
at 201 E. Colfax and the agency’s Web site will become “living museums” of student
expression through the visual arts. Staff and visitors will be inspired by a rotating
display of student accomplishments in the arts, and will understand the connection
between creativity and student success.

Submissions for the first art call-out will be accepted from Tuesday, Sept.1 until Friday,
Oct. 9. The gallery can hold no more than 48 two-dimensional art pieces and 32 three dimensional
art pieces. There will only be one submission per school district so please
verify your representation through district leadership before reserving your space! Space
is LIMITED!
