- I am a professional musician and teacher who is interested in helping develop the next generation of arts leaders as well as performers. For 18 years, I was violist of the Da Vinci Quartet and part of a non-profit.
- Tell us how you feel about arts education
- I feel that a well-rounded education must have the arts as part of the core curriculum. It is vital to a student's intellectual and creative growth. Finding ways to maintain programs and help them grow is a challenge, but with the partnerships in place (parents, teachers, administrators and the community at large), it can be done.
