Bones Solo Ensemble
Bones takes students on a journey to exotic lands with his stories and musical instruments from around the globe. Fusing traditional styles with the latest technologies, he literally builds his songs right in front of the kids, one layer at a time. Singing in four languages and playing over a dozen different drums, marimbas, didgeridoos, steel pans and guitars, he creates the sound of a full ensemble. The interactive video element allows the audience to see what is being played from Bones' perspective as well as showing images of regional maps and the instruments in their native contexts.
This is more than a musical performance: Students learn about geography, history and cultures that are new to them. Bones' engaging programs foster a greater appreciation for the importance of cultural diversity and tolerance in today's society.
Note: Price is based on adequate PA system and lighting to be provided by the school or facility.
Single Performance: $450
Double Performance: $600
Additional Fees:
- The addition of interactive video with professional engineer (Highly Recommended) is $200
- The addition of professional sound/lighting engineer and technology is $200
