From tried-and-true old favorites, to fresh new discoveries, Pam draws from her repertoire of worldwide folktales to tailor a program for your school, group, or event. She weaves music and Spanish into many of her lively, original retellings of traditional tales.

Uncle Olaus Survives the Titanic
Pam tells the dramatic, true story of her great-uncle who was on the Titanic. This richly layered story of immigration, adventure, homesteading, friendship, and survival is an hour long, so please schedule a 75-minute slot for the story and Q&A.

Single Workshop Experience

No Paragraphs, Margins, or Quotation Marks!
Just as there are many concepts, building blocks, and rules to learn in developing writing skills, there are fundamental ingredients of oral presentation skills, as well. Using story modeling, participatory exercises and games, brainstorming and group discussion, participants explore the many rich elements of the oral language of storytelling, as compared to and contrasted with the written language of literature.
