Adventure in Reading
Join Mark Hellerstein and his buddy, Willy the Worm, as they take kids on an "Adventure in Reading" where students explore how reading opens up a world of learning and ignites the imagination. Students will love Willy’s hilarious "fractured" version of a story he has just read, and find that they can use their imaginations to bring a drawing to life right before their eyes.

Adventure in Ventriloquism
Students in grades two through six take a time machine and travel back in time to Dr. Frankenstein’s castle where Mark and friends recreate the famous experiment. Not only do kids participate in the program, but Mark uses ventriloquism to produce special sound effects and surprises. Students will explore the lessons this story holds about character and respect.

Puppets & Things On Strings
In this full-stage marionette puppet production, Little Willy Worm, the Bookworm, narrates a musical version "Jack and the Beanstalk” as children sing along. This performance is limited to 150 students.

Health and Fitness
In this unique melodrama, our favorite dog hero, Healthy Habits battles his arch enemy, that dastardly fiend Fraud Freely, owner of a company called Bad Health. Children unravel the mystery, discovering clues about when they say no to cigarettes, alcohol and unhealthy food and yes to healthy choices.

Single Workshop Experience

Puppets and Ventriloquism
Ventriloquism combines many art forms: theatre, comedy, acting, storytelling, and melodrama. This workshop teaches students about different types of puppets and explores the art of ventriloquism. Students will make their own puppets, complete with moving mouths! This is a two-hour workshop.
