She has served as an invited instructor in venues throughout the US and Europe, has been awarded National Choreographic Fellowships and received nominations from the Monaco Dance Forum, Nijinsky Awards for Best Emerging Choreography, Choreographer and Female Dancer. She holds a B.F.A. from The Ohio State University, is a member of the multi-disciplinary Boulder-based Mariposa Collective, and has been on the Think 360 Arts/Young Audiences artist roster for several years, presenting work that leads both young and old through the magical and often profound journey of movement and dance. Her artistic vision recognizes dance as a powerful tool which can lead to greater self realization, empowerment, social tolerance, and compassion. Her goal as a residency artist is to instill a spark of wonder, excitement and curiosity about the way in which we relate to ourselves, one another and the world around us.

Single Workshop Experience
The Language of Dance
This workshop focuses on how to speak about what we see through dance and movement, and in turn, how to dance and move what we speak, think and feel. Using playful exercises involving keen observation and creative improvisation, students learn to discern and create meaning in movement. Using the body as a tool of artistic communication, students learn to trust their innate movement senses and most importantly, experience dance as a fun and meaningful form of expression.
