Artist in Residence

Jeff Finlin is a critically claimed writer and singer-songwriter, now residing in Fort Collins, Colorado. He spent twenty years in the Nashville music scene writing and recording and has performed extensively throughout the world with the likes of Steve Earle. His records have been released on major labels throughout the world and his song, Sugar Blue, was recently included in the major motion picture, Elizabethtown, which was written and directed by Cameron Crowe and starred Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst. Countless publications around the globe have featured stories about his work.
Jeff loves working and interacting with students in all facets of writing and performing. He loves getting the opportunity to give away all the experience and knowledge he’s accumulated over the years to students. “It’s the most rewarding thing I do these days,” he says. “Learning to communicate and express yourself is a great asset in any facet of life and I enjoy helping students learn to do that.”
