Artist in Residence

Jane Page is a well-known free-lance director, acting coach and educator. She has extensive experience working with teachers and students, and in 2007, the Alliance for Colorado Theater selected Jane as the Outstanding Theatre Educator of the Year. One of Jane's passions is creating performance pieces with students to align with the classroom curriculum. Jane has worked in a variety of school and educational settings including: elementary through university settings with highly gifted, at-risk populations, and medically fragile children. For eight years, she has served on the faculty for the Aesthetic Education Institute of Colorado.

Jane's national directing credits include: Colorado Shakespeare Festival; Studio Arena Theater, Buffalo, New York; Alabama Shakespeare Festival; Capital Repertory Theater, Albany, New York; GeVa Theater, Rochester, New York; Virginia Stage Company; Florida Studio Theater; Repertory Theater of St. Louis; Cleveland Play House; and Utah Shakespeare Festival. Her work has also been seen throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. Jane holds an M.F.A. in Directing from Indiana University.
